Entry Requirements

Access to a retail environment at supervisor level

As this qualification is at level 4, there is an expectation that the learner will have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to at least year 11, as well as knowledge of common office software applications. (Please see course flyer for pathways into this program)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Do you have work skills and knowledge that are not recognised by a formal qualification? You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning which will reduce your training time as well as the cost of the course. Discuss your RPL needs with an RMT training manager prior to enrolment.

Computer Requirements

Students will need access to a computer and the internet. For students who do not have access to either a computer or the internet please let your RMT trainer know prior to enrolment.

Minimum specifications for the computer are:

• Microsoft Office 2007 or equivalent, and
• Microsoft Windows 98, or
• Mac OS X, and
• CD-ROM drive.

Students will also need access to a printer and the following free applications, downloadable from the internet:

• Adobe Acrobat Reader and
• Macromedia Flash player.
