diploma production horticulture

The Diploma is designed for practitioners within the Production Horticulture sector aiming to become business managers and/or owners. It also provides the underpinning knowledge required to apply these skills in the workplace. You will learn how to manage the procedures employees in the horticulture industry must carry out as well as learning technical skills that a manager on a rural enterprise should have.

Length of study

The length of this course is 12 months full-time and 18 months part-time. (Approximately 10-20 hours should be given to complete each unit - depending on your subject knowledge and time spent on study sessions)

Complete the course faster depending on the time you have available! This certificate course of 10 units is typically completed within 1 year, but you can finish earlier by increasing the time you dedicate to your studies.

You can start your course at any time - there are no semester or course date to wait for. There are two options for enrolment: Firstly you can fill out the enrolment form and post or fax back to RMT or you can fill out the online enrolment form

How is this course organised?

The course is offered as a part-time or full-time, student-determined program of study. RMT uses a facilitated elearning model. On enrolling you are assigned a Facilitator who provides technical support throughout the program and helping you with workplace application.
