Food Safety: Food Handling for small business

Have you thought about your responsibilities as a Safe Food Handler, Producer or Retailer? Do you know what is required under the Australian Standards? Our food safety short course will get you up to speed when it comes to food handling.

RMT are able to assist you as a Food Handler to meet the required standards, with some basic training. Training can be customised to suit enterprise group requirements based on competencies from the following units:

  • FDFCORFSY1A Follow work procedures to maintain health and safety
  • WRRLP6C Apply retail food safety practices

These sessions will focus on meeting the basic requirements for those who operate Large Food Businesses, as well as those in Small Business who may have limited time and resources.

It is a Nationally Recognised Training Course, which meets the requirements for client groups working under the Food Act, 2001 & Food Safety Standards 3.1.1; 3.2.2; & 3.2.3.
